You said it Elizabeth, I'm a little squeezed for time, my incentives need to be kept simple and quick - great feedback! All my customers are welcome to enter the incentive competitions, having purchased some, one or none! Glad you enjoy LightVision.

A ripping good yarn Cynthia! Don't hold back next time, this is just the response we wanted to see. The signed copy of Abstract Earth by Richard Woldendorp will be on it's way to you this week.

Thanks for the valuable feedback Veronique. I get itchy feet too, and it's not from 'Ernst the pug' under my desk! I look at all the thousands of fab images in the library and try and kid myself that I've seen Australia, doesn't beat experiencing the real Australia though...I need to get out of Redfern more. Vive l'Australie!

Well, the book was an enticement for me. And it did give me pause and I did think about sending in an entry. BUT I didn't send an entry for two reasons: 1. I currently have a lot of work on the go and I'm a little squeezed for time; 2. It felt "wrong" to enter a competition given that I've purchased only a few photos from you. I love your site - and I really like "LightVision" and find it full of useful information. But, as someone whose work (photo research) is mostly for Canadian educational publishers, I tend to have a need for Australian specific photography only rarely -- although when I do need it, it's great to know you're there.

Do you know, I wrote an entry for your competition because I really would like the Richard Woldendorp book, but then I thought what I wrote might be more insulting than witty! It went something like this:

"There's nothing more Australian than bludging, and Wildlight photographers have the biggest bludge of all: wandering round this vast land taking photos of spectacular scenery. Thankfully, they're really good at it."

you are right Andrew, photos are a beautiful art form and it makes my heart race each time I look at something beautiful. Wildlight has some fantastic images and I love browsing through the collections. Not only that, but as a travel pic researcher, I get such itchy feet, I almost need to be tied up on my chair! I want to see it all. I was away in the vastness of the Kimberley when you sent your last newsletter and missed it...or I would have replied and raved about Australia and its grandiose sights. Vive the bush! I follow your thoughts on marketing the photos and would love beautiful framed photos or that book... See you at Picturehouse. Thanks for the photo rights, most informative. You have got a loyal reader here...
