Colin Beard
 Colin Beard was a founding member of Australia’s first Rock’n Roll
Magazine, Go-Set, photographing the popular music scene in Australia, UK
and USA.
He became a prominent Fashion and Advertising Photographer, working on major
national and international accounts.
He started teaching in 1977 as a founding member of the staff of ‘The Sydney
College of the Arts’ and later joined the Design Faculty of The University
of Technology.
Colin is also a highly regarded Photojournalist, working extensively for
Australian Geographic magazine and others.
He has produced a series of books with author, James Cowan: The Mountain
Men, The River People, Starlight’s Trail and Sacred Places in Australia
plus other books.
His photographs have been exhibited in Sydney, Brisbane, UK, Beijing and Italy. |
